It is important to perform a survey if organization is ready to accept Linux based Laptop/Desktop. Actually it is not a matter of operating system, It is more about Microsoft office. People will accept Ubuntu as It provides huge number of software’s in its repository those are free to use and very helpful for their day to day official and personal tasks. But replacement of office is a bit challenge. People are learning MS office right from the school. They have hardly seen any other office suite so far. So the Challenge is, how to ask them to change their habit or ways of working.
Libreoffice is a strong replacement of Microsoft office but its not Microsoft office. So it is required to understand that how much or which business unit is only depend on MS Office. Leave those people for a while. rest of the employees can be easily migrated to Ubuntu.
